Aneesa will teach you about equipment, software and techniques so that you can edit parts on music software such as GarageBand. This is a great masterclass if you’re a beginner with GarageBand and need to learn how to set up tracks, record and import melody lines, adjust dynamics and how to do precision editing.

Learn how to run groups and create performances that are inclusive of people with disabilities, the LGBTQNI+ community, and people of all backgrounds and identities.

Aneesa has been the Musical Director of Brighton’s Rainbow Chorus, a community choir for LGBTQNI+ people, since 2012. She holds a qualification in British Sign Language. And she’s a proud British Asian Muslim.



In this masterclass you will learn how to support English songs with sign-language in your performances, how to support minority communities by showcasing talent and increasing visibility, and how to be a visible ally to minority communities.

6. Songwriting masterclass


Learn how to write and arrange your very own songs



Aneesa unlocks the secrets to writing your own songs. Aneesa has released many original songs that have entertained audiences and delighted fans.



She says, ‘When you know the story you want to tell, the rest starts to flow. Writing a great song is absolutely possible.’



In this masterclass, Aneesa introduces you to song structure, including choruses, verses, hooks and bridges; how to arrange parts for band musicians and soloists; how to write harmonies for backing vocalists; and how to write melodies and improve lyrics.



7. How to conduct choirs


Learn how to conduct singers who can’t read sheet music as well as those who can, improve the clarity of your conducting style, and how to bring out the best in your singers.
